By now, you’ve probably spent years thinking of yourself as a certain kind of person — outgoing or reserved, high-maintenance or easygoing, optimistic or cynical. You may have become used to certain roles, ways of communicating or dealing with stress.
And, even if you're dissatisfied with those roles or your patterns of coping aren't working so well anymore, you may think it's too late or too complicated to question your perceptions or change your behaviors.
Midlife is an important stage of development with unique challenges. It's an opportunity to reimagine who you are and how you show up in your life – for yourself and others.

therapy for women in “the middle”

Middle age is an opportunity for women to step into our most authentic selves in remarkable ways. For some, it’s a redefining. For others it’s a complete reimagining. Many who’ve been stuck in limiting patterns of belief about themselves and the world suddenly have space to shift. There’s something about this time in the middle that is incredibly freeing.
In many ways, it’s also a frightening biopsychosocial journey when our bodies are changing, our hormones are tanking, and we feel completely out of control.
That’s where therapy comes in. Given the chance to explore and ask hard questions within a safe space, women can reclaim their sense of self and stand firmly in their worth.
It’s a beautiful thing.
